Foliar application Effect of Salicylic Acid and Drought Stress on Growth and Yield of Mung bean (Vigna radiata )

This study was conducted to investigate the mitigation of drought stress by foliar application salicylic acid in mung bean (Vigna radita). Treatments comprised three which are control treatment without , at %50 flowering stage and pod formation stages (SA) concentrations are 50 ppm, 100ppm,150 ppm two times, first spray after 30 days second 40 sowing. Irrigation missing stage, affected less growth yield as compared with irrigation both stage. The results showed that most treatments were significantly on components, data represented highest values (number pod, weight 100 seeds, biological yield, harvest index) (19.88 pod.-1, 5.21 g, 9, 28 ton.ha-1, 7.13%) respectively, value same traits reduced stage to (18.71 4.58 8.43ton.ha-1, 4.44%) respectively. Also, indicated higher (150 ppm) caused significant increase (seed index). Although water deficit has hampered components mungbean .Exogenous mitigate adverse effects significantly.
